A photography studio website for clients looking at portraits, weddings, and corporate shoots. It solves the trust problem by showing the work clearly and making booking enquiries simple.
Challenge
The core challenge was showcasing high-resolution photography without destroying page load times. A photography portfolio that loads slowly defeats its own purpose — visitors leave before seeing the work. Beyond performance, the site needed to clearly organize three distinct service types (portraits, weddings, corporate), present packages in a way that made booking decisions easy, and build trust through genuine client testimonials.
Approach
I crafted a minimal, content-first design where typography and generous whitespace frame the photography. The Next.js Image component handles automatic WebP conversion, lazy loading, and responsive sizing — delivering crisp, beautiful images at every screen size without the performance hit. A restrained dark palette creates an elegant backdrop that makes the photography the undisputed hero of every page.
